Cloud Migration Readiness Scorecard
Use this scorecard to quickly gauge whether a migration effort is likely to move cleanly or generate avoidable delays and stabilization risk.
Identity and access
Are directory strategy, privileged access, MFA, and admin boundaries ready for the target environment?
Dependency clarity
Are application, data, networking, and integration dependencies documented well enough to sequence migration waves?
Landing zone and governance
Are account structure, policy controls, tagging, and environment separation defined before workloads move?
Rollback and cutover planning
Does each wave have clear rollback paths, stakeholder ownership, and service-level expectations?
Operating readiness
Will monitoring, patching, support ownership, and runbooks be ready when migrated systems go live?
If several answers are unclear, a migration readiness review is usually the right next step before committing to a full implementation sequence.
